As above, so below explores the concept of duality. The understanding that in nature all things are interconnected and cannot exist without their opposites. Perfection and imperfection exist together in perfect unison. Within the whole lies the individual, within the individual remains our unbroken connection to the whole.
It is through this play of shadow and light I explore deeply felt textures and monochromatic tones with just a hint of warm earthy violet and forest green.
I’ve always been drawn to things with texture or objects that have a visceral, tactile value to them; weighty glass beads, natural smelling leather, delicate lace or a lumpy knitted yarn, and recently I realised why that is… to me, It’s an undeniable, subconscious signalling of worth or value. These physical details register in a way that says ‘this has a story, it was made by real hands’ and in a society obsessed with ‘instant products’ or things generated by prompt, ‘as above so below’ stands in its opposite, a collection of hand made craft and artistry. Highly textural, detailed and 100% natural. Garments that one day will just as easily go back into the earth from where they came.
As Above, So Below is made ethically using natural fabrics, in small, limited numbers considerate of people and planet.

THE 1979 SWEATSHIRT
Our persuit to create an environmentally responsible sweatshirt was no small feat.
I've wanted to create a sweatshirt for GB for the longest time and i'm so excited to show you all what we've come up with. Two designs featuring messages close to my heart, cut from beautifully soft brushed French Terry fabric.
We did it - a 100% natural fleece sweatshirt that will warm your heart on a cold winters morning.
